The 'supposedly' infamous P0302/DSC/SES issue

So Ive had a few days of the DSC turning off and on, with an occasional hiccup/rough start. This continued up until today when the SES light came on with the DSC, code P0302, and the sputters. So I checked the wires, coil pack, and looked for other issues. Nothing. The first thing that came to mind was the plugs, and then I thought that the fuel quality could be an issue as well. After grabbing some additive, I opened the gas cap and a vacuum-y type sound rushed out. I was going to change the coil since it's the oldest portion of the ignition system, but am curious if anyone found a quick solution for this issue.
