FYI: ASD and volume control

Then I remembered that I adjusted the gong sounds in the tone settings>volume to low.

Cranked it up again and my Sports mode ASD growl is back.

I had no idea that you can actually adjust the ASD effects from the volume control.

Are you saying that if I make the gong sounds louder my growl will be louder too? I turned my gong sounds way down because they are annoying, but I wouldn't mind a little more growl.

I believe yes, that is what I had turned down initially when I noticed the growl gone. Now turned back up the growl has returned.

Adjusting the gong volume does, indeed, seem to reduce the ASD volume. Nice tip! What do yo mean by "less annoying BMW gong"?

Got it. My cable just arrived Friday and I coded out the ASD sounds. It's definitely quieter still than with the gong turned all the way down.

I was a little bummed when I turned on the ASD menu and found more cheesy fake sounds instead of a volume control like o was hoping, but off is good enough for me. I don't mind the MINI gong, so I left that alone.
