I want to get a roof rack so I can use the mini to take my paddle board out but what do I do about the annoying antenna at the back? Is there a way to get a shorter one? How do I go about this?
When I was carrying long items on my roof rack, I just unscrewed the antenna and threw it on the center rail. I didn't even notice a change in radio reception.
Detroit Tuned has a couple of different sizes, too... if I remember correctly. I know I have at least one shorter antenna from there. Also have an even stubbier antenna which I got through Cravenspeed.
