Clearwater/Largo MINI specialist

Now that Ralph from d'elegance has moved, who is the main MINI specialist in our area?

I don't want to have to tow or drive a hobbled car all the way to Orlando.

Thanks for any input....

Hello W Herb Clark - I've just discovered the closure of Ralph's shop, so I'm now in your boat too. I've got a 2003 Cooper that needs an oil change and a new valve cover gasket and I just can't bring myself to go to the dealer... Unfortunately I don't have an answer to your question but am also in search of an alternative. If I find anyone, I'll certainly let you know and hope for likewise.

Ralph had been doing the work on my MINIs since 2007 so I am looking for someone also. Any recommendations greatly appreciated.

Actually I do have a recommendation. I just contacted Michael at German Imports Corporation located in Largo and he is happy to help out. Website is http://germanimportscorp.com/. I've met him previously on a social basis. He is a great guy and an excellent mechanic who specializes in imports. I have friends who have taken their cars to him for years and his prices are reasonable. His shop has been in business since 1976. I will be taking my MINIs to him from now on. (Note: I am not affiliated with this business;.)

I can second the recommendation for Michael at German Imports. A lot of Ralph's former customers are going there now.

Oh, thanks much dscabrio and Photodesign! I'd gotten the same recommendation from 'ExtremeArtists' on the SunshineMinis.org site. So glad to see a consensus! Cheers!
