Hi guys I'm new to the mini world, I just bought an 02 auto and they told me the radio didn't work and they weren't sure why but when I pulled the radio today I find that the antenna wire was cut at the connector. I've been searching the Internet and everything keeps giving me how to's on replacing the physical antenna I just need a part number for the cable that runs from the radio to antenna. Thanks in advance!

 

Go to RealOEM.com and input your VIN. Then search their parts diagrams for what you need. Once you have the OEM part #, you can Google the 'net for it.

that cable would be a bit*h to run I suspect, with the ant' being in the center of back roof ...

any possibility you could splice in a new section? Coax ain't THAT difficult to work with and if you found the problem I suspect you are not a novice in this area . . .

heck, if there is some slack, all you need is to crimp on a new connector . . . UGH, just saw the post above this ... looks like a very non standard connector !!!

(if I found this I'd be wondering what else was to be found . . . sorry, but I'd wonder)
