R50/53 Can fit kw v2 for r56 into r53?
They should fit, but you'll need to use R53 front strut tower mounts and not use the small cone shaped spacer on the lower rear mounts, unless you've done the R56 aluminum trailing arm conversion.
Not sure if the spring rates are different for each gen from KW, though. From MINI, the spring rate can change depending on the options of the car, like auto vs manual, or with, or without, sunroof.

Don't think you would want too...
The spring rates and rebound rates are different.... Suspensions are tuned to different cars and weight is the biggest factor.... And the r53 is a lighter car.

If i buy kw v2 for 56 and need to fit it on 53 what will i buy anything eles for install it?
I would really check with KW before purchasing or mounting their R56 coilovers on your R53.
If they KW says it's OK to use them, you'll use R53 strut tower mounts on the front coilovers. If your R53 mounts are in good condition, you should be able to re-use those. The other issue is the spacer on the lower mount of the rear struts. R53 struts don't have those.
edit: GP1 has rear aluminum trailing arms so the rear strut spacer is probably OK.
Yes, you can try to do it but the spring set up is different per weights.
I would just get the ones for the chassis, so you dont have issues. Here are the part numbers for Gen 1 R53 MINIs V2 15220042, KW even had a kit for the GP1 specifically.
