Trailer Hitch for Mini Cooper S. This is a custom made 1-1/4" receiver that fits under the center exhaust pipes of an S. It comes with a drawbar that will accept a hitch ball so you can pull a small utility trailer. To install you will have to drill two holes through the cargo floor and place a special steel plate under the carpet to keep the mounting bolts from pulling through the stock metal. This plate is included. Then you will need to enlarge a hole that exists under the car and place a special bolt through the larger opening. (included) After making these modifications you will be able to bolt the hitch in place.

It has been used to pull a small utility trailer that was loaded with a full set of race tires for auto-x use. You could also use it to attach a bike rack.

If you are not handy with a drill and tape measure, do not try to mount this yourself.
