Hey Guys/Gals, I'm a new owner of a 2008 R56 Cooper S. I'm looking to upgrade my wheels to something a litle cooler....I love the looks of the Rota 16" Hyper Black wheels...They have them on Ebay and the listing said you can use the stock lugs....Does anybody in NAMland have any experience with these wheels or know if they're any good?
TX!!!!

I have 16" Rotas on my 2011 Clubman. No problems at all, mine are not the Hyper Black ones though. See my gallery.
I used stock lugs for the longest time but someone in my Mini club gave me his chrome lugs when he purchased a set of Black rota wheels. Should have no problem using stock lugs.
I have a set of Rota Slipstream 16x7 on a 2007 MCS. The tires are 205/55-16 which are a little larger in dia. than stock. As a result, some of the error in the speedometer has been removed.
Haven't had any rubbing problems. If your MINI is lowered, you might want 205/50-16. No problems with the wheels. I've had them since 2008. They weigh less than 14 lbs. per wheel, which is excellent. Mine are "Gunmetal with Polished Lip."
