Can I put HID's in my High Beams?

So, i've tried to research and I just can't find a direct answer...

I just bought an R53 with the xenon low beams. I don't like how the high beams are regular halogen. Can I simply buy an H7 xenon bulb and replace the high beam, or is there more to it than that?

Thanks!

There is more to it than that, you would have to buy an ent HID (xenon) kit, and figure out where to mount the rectifier.
Normally one if the reasons high beams are still halogen is because of how the rectifiers work and that they need time to charge up (this is why there's that delay and rise in brightness when you turn your headlights on) plus it's also not good to do quick on/off's with them. (Like flashing your high beams for what ever reason)
Best you can do is find a colored halogen replacement, 5000k-6000k is what your looking for. Many people just use Silver Stars.

I have the Ziza halogens, they are Very bright. Could be an easy option, and cost effective.

HID high beams if you have seperate bulbs for high and low suck. Spent the money on that long ago when I was younger and instantly regret it. When you flip high beams on you want them now. Not 2-3 minutes from now. That doesn't sound like a lot, but next time you are driving down the road at 60 flip high beams on and watch the clock for how far 3 minutes really is. At 60mph that 3 minutes is 3 miles.
