I was wondering if anyone has used Madness Motorworks for tuning? I have a 2015 Mini S Countryman all4 and was looking at an CAI, Milltek Exhaust and a tune?

 

They have a so so online reputation, as to actually going to them maybe they are better. I didn't know they did tunes for countryman. CAI is pretty much useless. I'm curious as well as you. I was looking at the Manic tune but don't want to ship my ECU. I contacted mariokart who is a vendor on NAM and he would come to Portland if i had at least five tunes for him to do.

 

I spoke with George today and he seemed very helpful in answering my questions, as for the CAI, this is something they recommend with the tune. It turns out that they pull the ECU and send it to Arizona to have that piece completed?? I just like the fact that he spent 20 or so minutes on the phone with me to discuss and educate me on this.

 

What is the price for the tune? Is it just a package price?

 

The Tune alone is around $850 but he is working me up a package price for the rest and I should find out today. He recommended the Milltek Exhaust because it is 2.5" all the way back from the 2nd Cat yet I was really interested in the JCW Exhaust but that is only 2.25" does anyone have any thoughts?
