Spray painted rims

Does anyone have any pics of their stock rims that they have sprayed painted with wheel spray. I am deciding if want to attempt it on mine. I don't want the cheap o look on my car and am afraid of that.

The only thing I can say if you are thinking about doing this: Make sure you do all your prepwork is spot on. Get those wheels clean, sand them smooth as a baby's butt, clean them again and spray evenly. Don't do it outside where crap can get in the paint either. That's what makes a paint job look cheap, bad prepwork.

Yes, I have used it on mine.

I like the black rims, and I dont want to spend the money on new rims. So this past summer, my husband painted them semi gloss black. I really like it. This paint is able to be peeled off if I didnt like it.

There are some pretty good YouTube videos that can help you with rattle can spraying your wheels. I've also done this with a buddies wheels and they turned out pretty well. As stated above, just make sure your prep work before the paint is as good as it gets. That will determine how they turn out. I posted a good video for you below. I think a gun metal or for some reason maybe copper would look good. Would be different. Otherwise, black always looks good on BRG.

Somewhere in the 500 to 800 range should be okay and then when it's dry hit it with 1000, then 2000 and polish.
