I ordered these to license plate LED's to replace the OEM bulbs and they don't seem to be the right size? They are not snug enough so they spin around. Anyone else ever have this issue? The LED's even appear to be slightly smaller than the OEM bulb so before I even tried it, I suspected it probably wouldn't fit properly. Should I just try a different brand? I have some other LED's from JDM Astar and they work perfectly...
We have ones that are snug and don't rotate ( that's why we choose them ) , fit tight, plus no bulb out error , Ziza Brand. Most on the market are loose fitting and flicker, bulb out error ridden.
You can bend the tabs inward to accommodate the bulbs, as the bend out over time anyway. As for the bulb out indicator, you will either have to find LED setups that have resistors wired in series, put up with the bulb out indicator, or find a shop that has a dealer level scan tool that can deactivate the bulb check.
Thanks, I will try. They shouldn't give me a code or any issues, as they are Canbus error free. Not sure I want to go as far as paying $40+ for the Ziza's although I'm sure they work nicely.
Watch on bending them back and forth, if corrosion is there also from a missing lens or leaking seal , they can only bend a couple times and they snap from the mount bend.
