My xenon headlamps seem to annoy other drivers

I have a 2013 CMS with xenon headlamps, which also have the cornering, swiveling function. On about five or six occasions over the past couple years, as I follow or approach another car on the freeway from behind, and then pass that car, that car will immediately flip on its high beams to blind me.

My headlamps don't appear to be aimed high at all. I'm thinking those other drivers see my xenons flickering/self-adjusting and think that I'm messing with them.

To other Countryman drivers with xenon headlamps: Does this happen to you, too?

We never got high beam from other drivers. Why does your xenon flicker, is there some loose in there? Anyway, you might want to adjust them a bit lower.

The don't actually flicker. To a car that I'm approaching from behind, I thinking that they may appear to flicker (especially on uneven roads) because of the self-leveling feature.

New car Xenon headlights drive normal halogen owners crazy because they are not used to them. Majority of cars on the road are halogen. And they move to self level and corner which looks weird to them.

I guess I have never notice any xenon flickering behind me while driving but anyhow, when you are driving behind a sedan say 2 to 3 car length or so, does your light go above their trunk line into the rear window? If yes, you need to re-aim the light.
