The Silicone Intercooler Reasonator delete hose in BLUE improves airflow which results in improved performance!

This hose replaces the two OEM hoses and sound resonator. The purpose of the OEM sound resonator is to reduce the roar / whoosh noise that can often be associated with air passing through intake hoses. By removing this resonator with a smooth bore hose, the resistance is reduced providing better flow. Several of our competitors claim horsepower gains for the installation of this type of hose, but our own testing showed these to be marginal so we prefer not to make such claims. However we saw improvements of 10 - 15 ft/lbs torque on our own test car. It is difficult to accurately quantify gains for a specific product since other factors will affect the results, so your results may vary.

Typically if the car has ECU software, free flowing downpipe, exhaust, and intakeupgrades, the fitment of this hose will be more dramatic. From a drivers perspective, we did not perceive any increase in noise, but there was a noticeable change in the willingness for the engine to accelerate. This can be attributed to the torque improvement and small gain in horsepower.

As an added bonus this hose will withstand greater temperatures and pressures than the original hose making this a more durable alternative.
