FYI on f56 Stoptech rotors (JCW)
Hi all - I just wanted to put out an FYI if anyone is interested in getting some StopTech slotted and drilled rotors. My JCW arrives in Tacoma, WA (NW Mini) this Thursday, and I absolutely love these rotors. Especially since they have their "E- coatings" (darker, FAR from silver) they look amazing with black wheels.
The new rotors are bigger than I guess you'd have to say than their 2015 rotors. Now just to cover my *** I was asking (trying to buy) for Stoptech rotors on all fours for my 2016 JCW. I did not specifically ask for "f56" rotors. I'm not sure there is a difference, but remember the JCW's have the front Brembo's. All I can say if you have a 2016 f56 JCW......you....and me...will have to wait. He said it could be 6 months before the bigger ones come out, maybe longer. I plan on "tracking" this car (x-country) a few times per year, so I guess I can use that as an excuse as to why I want them, but honestly it's just for looks! They are freaking cool looking.
Here is a link, although it's an older link but the rotors are still the same. I will be getting mine through Mini Mania, although I think lots of places carry Stoptechs. I even think Tire Rack carries them. Anyways just trying to help in case there are more Stoptech fans out there.

The factory JCW rotors are perfectly fine, even for HPDE work. Even the factory pads are OK for light track duty. There's no reason to go spend money on rotors that won't work as well as stock.
If you need to mod your JCW straight away, get some good coilovers [JCW Pro are fine double-duty, or KW V2/V3/Clubsport or Anze depending on level of seriousness], put on some legit rubber, and if you're a hardcore track rat, get Carbotech or Cobalt to make you some front pads with a slightly higher mu.

Ryephile - thanks for the response - To be perfectly honest I just love the look of them! I probably won't track it, but I will red line this thing a lot. Funny thing is.....it's actually my wife's car! She doesn't want anything changed. But come on, you at least need to drop the run-flats (Pilot Super Sports waiting at the dealer), and I also got some spacers that were recommended on this site, 15mm fronts and 10 mm rears. Spacers are not really needed, but I think I'm going to like the stance. Plus it wouldn't hurt with the front Brembo's. At least I think that's the case. Wouldn't the spacers allow more room for the Brembo's ? Honestly I'm far from an expert so simple things like spacers I'm not 100% sure they will fit properly. I did get extended bolts however. My expertise is on the detailing side. I'm great with a random orb, I know how to strip and clay, I know the proper way to wash your car (where most of the "hazing"'takes place). My full detail takes 3 days, because my sealant needs 24hrs to cure before the next coat. Thanks for the info you really know your upgrades!
Ironically the factory summer tires on the JCW are quite good, better than all previous MINI factory tires barring the R56 GP, but the PSS's will raise the bar even more.
I'd flip the spacers around, 10mm front and 15m rear. The rears are tucked more than the front from the factory. I run 12mm front and 16mm rear spacers on my stock JCW wheels. It's strictly for aesthetics though, the brakes don't need "more room"; the front bumper already has brake cooling ducts in it, which honestly are pointless unless you're at a racetrack, or a hot run on the Tail of the Dragon.
As for the brakes, yea if you want to do it just for aesthetics then go for it.
