I applaud BMW's R&D efforts in regards to hydrogen. I'm a big fan of alternatives to coal and petroleum for energy. A big problem with this concept is "super-cooled liquid hydrogen". It takes gobs and gobs of energy to cool it and keep it cool. If it gets even a little warm, it escapes it's container due to the fact that a H2 molecule is really small (upper left side of the periodic table, remember? )
Only way to learn is concepts like this one, though.
