Hi Guys,

Is there a snap-in adapter for our Minis for the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6S? I have an iPhone 5S with my snap-in adapter and I really like it. I am eligible to upgrade but not doing anything until I know there is a snap in adapter. I found this on ECS Tuning website:

Will the iPhone 6/6S actually fit in the center console and work with this adapter? How about the 6S Plus?

Okay well I guess I will be the guinea pig on this one. Once I order my phone and the adapter, I will post up my results with pictures.

 

No dice for me guys. I purchased this part / item number off of eBay brand new: 84212365786

It came in the mail today and the unit plugs into the center console phone connection just fine but the center console cannot close because of the clip thingy that is used to hold the phone in place - doesn't matter if the phone is there or not. Also when I connected the phone to the lightning adapter, the car seems to have trouble reading it and the audio does not get passed through to the stereo.

I'm gonna try to get the device working because if I have full functionality I can at least modify or remove that clip and try to get the center console to close.
