Shift **** size?

Does anyone know the size or thread on the shift stick ? I've been looking for a new shift **** but I'm not sure if there's a certain size or special threading

You simply pull it off of the top, it has a special notch that snaps on the the top of the stick. I bought a compression style stick to put on mine and it worked fine. As far as how large the hole needs to be, pull your stock **** off and measure it I suppose.

Please open your sunroof...
Then pull it off...trust me...open the sunroof if you have one.... When you are yanking hard, and it releases...your hand and the **** will fly up...In your hand, and hit the window...and hurt like hell...

What type of **** are you going to replace it with? I changed mine out for a cue ball.

This is the one I used.

$17 and fit without any of the adapters that came with it. Just be careful because the pointy sets crews on mine were digging into the plastic making it wiggle, use blue thread lock.

its a BMW press fit, not sure the size
but its not a normal thread, unless you get a short shift kit, and that would typically be a 12mmx1.25

Watch when you pull it off if you have a glass roof ( open it ) or dont hit yourself in the face when it comes off. Its happens.
