I have an Alta cool air thingy on my Mini S, and love the sound from the supercharger. But I've wondered for some time if those outside the car can hear it.

At Thunderhill on Sunday, I asked my wife if she could hear it as I came up the main straight. She said yes, that people standing nearby would hear it coming and say, "Here comes that Mini again!"
