I have purchased the ECS Tuning LED kit for the interior and cannot get the map light fixture apart. They have a tutorial on their website but it just says to unhook the electrical connectors and be careful with the plastic tabs but does not tell how to unhook the 4 connectors or where the plastic tabs are or how to get to them. I have tried and can't get the microphone connector unhooked or the 3 other connectors nor can I figure out how to get to the plastic tabs to unhook them. I have searched the forum and google and can't find anything that addresses this. Any one with any help? Thanks!

Which R56 year kit did you buy ?

Here is the PDF step 1- 5 gets to the map lights. The two plugs just squeeze out ( they have push/ tabs clips that hold them in on the sides ) and the micro phone unit to plug just gets unpluged.

Thanks for the reply. Step 4 is the one that got me. I could not find where the tabs were to take the cover off. Where are they, how many, and how do you get them to unseat? I bought ones for a 2012. And which 2 plugs were you talking about? Mine has 3 electrical connectors plus the microphone connector...
