Way Motor Works has the ultimate in reducing body flex on your MINI. Our TSW X brace is the best chassis brace around. Our X brace mounts under the center of the car across the open area in the subframe. This will reduce the twisting of the body and give the MINI a more planted feel. This is not a new product as we've been selling them for years. Just ask around to someone that has used it and they will tell you how much they noticed it.
Yes we know there are other options out there. But they don't work or don't work as well. The biggest flaw you will see is other designs follow the shape of the subframe. That is NOT where it needs to be strengthened, the open area is where you need it and why we cross it with the big old X. Also others are multiple parts which allows movement in the brace itself not maximizing the stiffening that could be done. The X brace is a welded one piece to avoid that.
