R56 Spare tire and holding harnest

Hello everyone,
So I tried looking for the spare tire on my mini and nothing, turns out it is supposed to be under the car in the back, while it has a jack it has no spare tire nor does it have anything to hold a spare tire in place. Does anyone know where I can find a cheap spare as well as whatever the heck holds it in place?

I don't think it ever had one, as the manual shows it is supposed to have a device to turn under the carpet in the trunk and instead of that device it has a rubber cover (so its not a hole where someone took it out).

Do you have an S or JCW? Those cannot have spare tires hanging under the car, due to how the exhaust is routed. The "Justa" Cooper can have one--see my thread from a year or two ago on how to pull it out of the car. The S and JCW models all used run-flat tires because they had no spare.

I don't know if you can use a Justa spare over S or JCW brakes.

I bought a spare tire in a bag from Detroit Tuned. I don't know if it will fit over the front brakes, but if I get a flat in front I'll just move the rear to the front and put the spare on the rear. The spare fits quite nicely on the back seat behind the driver.

I do have the mini cooper S, sucks there is no spare, previous owner that sold it to me put regular tires, not run flats because she said the ride was horribly bumpy with run flats. Pokeyjoe I googled the detroit tuned spare in a bag and its a great idea, I wonder if it fits in the trunk of the mini.
