JB+ out of control?

Currently in the middle of my 2nd track day with the JB+, very concerned about the effect this thing is having on the car.

I turned it up to 50% last week, car was pushing 19psi with 103 octane (torco) consistantly for days ahead of my track day. As soon as I got on track it stared pushing 21psi, which was a little worrying but timing looked ok with the 103 octane. I turned it down to 40% mid-session but it continued to run 21psi.

Fast forward to today: the car has had 6 days and about 250 miles to adapt to the 40% setting. Tried a WOT pull last night and got 18psi max, figured all was good. Once again, as soon as I hit the track, 21psi. My Torco order did not show up on time, so I am only running 93 octane. The car was pulling timing all over, which is forcing me to watch the boost gauge and modulate throttle at 110 in traffic on the front straight at Lime Rock. NOT COOL.

Wtf is going on with this thing, and how do I get it unadapted and back to stock NOW? I took the unit off and unplugged the battery, will that do it? I can throw race gas in, but I have 3/4 tank of 93 left so it isn't going to make a huge dent in anything except my wallet...

Update 1: Removing the JB+ and the battery did NOT do anything; still pushing 21psi. Put 25 miles on the car during the session, might try to hop out on the road and get another 10 miles to see if I can get it to adapt back to stock.

Update 2: Word from Jon at BMS is that the car should revert to stock immediately, which means something else is effecting the boost curve. Speculation is that it could be a surge in inlet temp causing the boost curve to change, although I'm not sure why the stock DME - without any influence from the JB+ - would allow the engine to boost to the point of detonation. I took the car out on the road and did a couple WOT pulls to redline, currently it spikes to about 16-17 initially and then surges up to 19-21 in the higher RPM range. The car is still pulling timing.

Did you check for any kind of codes being thrown. Maybe a car issue and not the JB ? When I've taken mine off it usually adapts pretty quick, less than 50 miles or so.

No codes. Gave up trying to modulate throttle and put 5 gallons of 100 octane in (probably got me to about 96 net by my calculations), after which timing settled down a bit. It still was running next to no advance in places, but at least it was stable.
