Hey everyone, so i never ordered the HK system with my car. Does anyone own the standard sound system and can provide me some feedback? Is it significantly different from HK?

 

HK has twelve speakers, standard has four. HK has 450watt amp standard is around 50watts. HK is richer with much better highs and mids.HK has 5 tweets, 5 mids and two subs as opposed to two full range speakers and two subs. Difference is staggering.

 

The HK is a much better system. I purchased my mini used and it had the HK sound system. I would not have thought to put one in my car if building one. It is actually one of my favorite things in my car.
I had a loaner recently with the standard sound system, and the difference in sound quality was instantly apparent. I will always upgrade my sound system from now on.

 

HK is night and day difference like James described!
