I have a 2005 R52 that has a broken plastic latch on the end of the right side cable. I was rather disappointed to find that the only way to get this part is as part of a pair of cables for $450+. I started thinking maybe someone has broken a left cable and has a new or used right one that they will part with. I would even consider buying the pair new if someone wants to purchase the left one from me. I would try repairing the plastic in some way but I don't have all of the pieces.
