My mini had a hole in the tire

A week back i posted that my tire light had come on, I didnt think much of it since I just had new rims put on, well there was a hole in the tire and it finally completely deflated when i was trying to drive home form the beach. Even with runflats, driving on those with no air in them make them sound terrible, didnt sound like they could be driven on at all. So I called the mini roadside service. Stupid thing with that is if you had no AAA the Mini Roadside is pointless, not even sure why they have it, they should just call it AAA. Good thing my girlfriend was there and had AAA else I wouldve had no where to go with my mini except the closest Goodyear, which I didnt want. ANywho my wheel is being patched as we speak and I have been mini less for almost a full day... I get it back tomorrow, this sucks...

Heres a pic of it I took on my phone (hence the quality) it was pretty funny to see, the car took almost no room up on top of the tow bed, there was a good 4 feet in each direction on top of the bed that was emty space.

did you take it to the dealer?

Goodyear could probably patch it while you waited. I don't understand what happened to your tire.

I ran over two nails and ripped my sidewall and I drove it to the tire place. I had to buy a new runflat for $200 bucks, that sucked. Plus thay had to order it and that took 2 days.

sucks being with out the mini. Hope you get it back soon and nice wheels.

Not sure why I didnt just take it to goodyear, I didnt really know what was wrong with it, and I didnt think goodyear would have a new tire if I needed it, didnt even think of patching at the time... Tire just had a hole in it, I know they are runflats, it just sounded so terrible when I was driving on it I didnt want to risk it so I just had it towed to the dealer.

sorry to keep posting but I'm getting really close to 5th gear I think.

Kyle your Ds/B MCS is killer. Pretty close to mine, i have Ds/B too. I was checking your picture and just wanted to warn you about those ladders.

I should just go take a picture of my garage so you could see that I have all the laders and rakes and stuff stacked up next to my wifes Honda Civic. This is earthquake country and you can never be too carefull.
