I have a brand new 38 inches Thule Fairing (871XT). Brought it few months ago but never get the chance to install it, only opened the box. Now I have decided not to install it. $90 firm shipped lower CONTUS. $80 local pickup.

The pics are not too informative, for me, at least. Am I correct with my guess that this is a fairing/wind deflector for a stock MINI roof rack front crossbar? I live near the Bay Area and am interested in reducing my wind noise due to the roof rack.
