How important are Castrol products to YOU and your MINI??

Hi everyone! It has been a while since we were in touch!

As many of you know, Ferney's has been selling Castrol products, since they are what are recommended by the manufacturer for Minis.

However, for reasons too boring to explain here, we are considering switching to Valvoline.

STILL, our number one priority is to take the best possible care of our Mini customers. How important is it to you to have Castrol? Please shoot us back a response and indicate...

A) I MUST have Castrol! I interpret factory recommendations as Moses did the 10 Commandments.

B) I like Castrol but I've done research and consumer reports indicate the quality of Castrol/Pennzoil/Valvoline is pretty much the same. Doing regular oil changes is much more important that the brand.

C) My brain does not have room in its hard drive to think about this.

Thanks so much and we'll look forward to hearing from you!

I believe that the new Mini oil is made by Shell. I couldn't care less what brand as long as it is a well known one and is changed frequently.

If it meets BMW LL-01 or LL01-FE, I'll use it. That's what standards are for.
