Did this just suddenly happen? If so, what was done to the car right before that?

New car? Used car? Under warranty? If you have a warranty, this is very much the time to use it!

No warranty. I it just suddenly happened i had it running like an hour before and i put the key in and nothing... and none of my keys work. ive had the car for like two years and this is the first real problem i had. the only mod ive done in the past year or so was install a front strut bar onto is like a week ago

How's the car's battery? Weird things seem to happen to these cars when the battery gets old and tired.

Otherwise, sounds like a problem either in the key socket, or maybe in whatever coding recognizes the keys. Certainly beyond my pay grade--I'd be talking to a local mechanic or even the dealer at this point.
