Hello,

I'm a Gen 1 guy, but my dad has a '12 R56 (N18). My brother and I want to get him some headers for his birthday.

What do you guys recommend as being the best value for the money here?

If your dad does have the N18 (turbo) engine, then there are no "headers" for that engine. Being a turbo'd engine you can't have what is normally considered a header. You can get the JCW exhaust manifold, but it will do very little without a tune, plus there will be no sound change.

What was your main purpose to get the header? Was it for sound? Power? Once we know the goal, we can direct your better. These engines are far different than the 1st Gens so the Mod strategy doesn't apply in the same way.
