Hey Guys,

I recently got a crack in bumper that cannot be fixed and now I am forced to replace the bumper. I thought of taking the opportunity to upgrade to the front bumper from the JCW Aero kit. When I called to the dealer to inquire about purchasing this for my mini cooper S, they informed me that the bumper from the aero kit along will not fit on the Cooper S. And that I would also need to purchase additional fender flares.

Can anyone validate this? I just want to make sure the dealer knew what they were talking about and not just giving me a convenient answer.

Has anyone installed just the R56 JCW Aerokit Front bumper on their R56 MCS?

This kit has been installed on countless cars that aren't JCW vehicles. And no you do not need fender flares. Basically its a front bumper, grill pieces, front lip spoiler pieces and some air deflectors. There might be some connecting hardware, but I believe most of it transfers from the original front bumper.

I was certain people were installing the full kits on their MCS. I was just unsure if there was an issue just installing the front bumper, with out installing a "full kit"
