Lost Contacts on Bluetooth Again

I have a 2015 MCS with the base infotainment system. It does have Bluetooth and accommodates the storage of contacts through pairing or synching your phone to the on board computer. The sales associate installed it when I purchased the vehicle. The contacts disappeared when I had the mini portable navigation installed at the dealership (2 weeks after purchase). Went back to dealer and the sales associate and a colleague reinstalled the contacts, but it took about 45 minutes. Anyway, about a month since that reinstall and the contacts just dropped out again. There is no special event that precipitated this failure of which I am aware. Tried to reinstall, but am having no luck. I have a windows phone, running windows phone 8. I think I've succeeded in unlinking the phone finally. Any help would be appreciated.

Yes, indeed. Switched my Bluetooth to my portable mini navigation system. Works without flaws. Unfortunately it obviously does not turn down radio volume when call comes in. No big deal.

I had a 2012 R58 without Mini Connect. I paired a Samsung Note 1 and later a Note 4 to bluetooth for the phone. Could not pair the media audio via Bluetooth. Other than the media audio the setup worked fine. Traded the 2012 for a 2015 R58. Got the mini connect option this time. Still have the Samsung Note 4 phone paired to Bluetooth. Your loosing your contact list. I am loosing the paring of the Note 4. My phone still shows the mini in the bluetooth setup but the car says I have no phone paired. So I re-pair the bluetooth connection. A week later I have to go through the same setup. I have a Gen 4 iPod connected with Mini Connect for iTunes. I hotspot via the Samsung if I need internet. Don't know if the dropping of the bluetooth configuration is because of the Apple device on the plugin. Maybe it expects an Apple phone to be there. Thinking about scrapping the iPod and going back to the way I did it in the 2012. MP3 music on the memory stick on the USB port. Phone bluetooth with the Samsung. Anyone else loosing their Bluetooth paired phone be it Apple or something else?
