Major Car Malfunction- Need Advise ASAP

Hey everyone. So here's my story

I modded my 2012 R60 Countryman S All4 almost two years ago and loved it since. However I recently needed money so I began to remove aftermarket parts and sell them. Yesterday I removed an IC and CAI and replaced them with the original stock parts.

I drove for a few minutes and noticed a stumble/hesitation (very similar to another thread recently posted) around 30 mph right at 2000 rpms. It wasn't that bad and I told myself the car must be adjusting to the new air flow. If I sped up or slowed down it went away.

Then today (my third drive overall) I was driving on the highway and the stumble was still present even at 60mph and again at 2000 rpm. However after about 30 minutes my car died. It flashed a half dozen various warnings-

Low oil pressure!
Faulty transmission!
4x4 disabled!
Reduced power output!
STOP NOW (paraphrasing)!

I pulled over and shut it off, then restarted. The same warnings were there and this time a very loud noise from under the hood- a droning/air suction noise.

I am having it towed to the dealer, but I am nervous they might try to blame me somehow. Is there any chance that swapping the IC and CAI back to stock caused my problems?

Loose intake hose, air mass sensor connector popped off?
A vacuum hose came loose. Poke around under the hood and let us know what you found, unless your car is at your dealer already?

It's at the dealer now, but I did open the hood and look around. The AMS was all set and connected. All intake hoses were connected. I couldn't really see the intercooler hoses so one may have slipped off.

And there was oil on the dipstick so the low oil pressure warning really didn't make sense to me.

One thing I did notice when removing the helix intercooler was a lot of black sludge on the intercooler exit port. Just build up?

Dealer is telling me the DME was fried, short circuited. Not sure that makes sense but we'll see if replacing it fixes the problem.

MINI dealer is saying that a broken ground wire caused the DME to fail and is not going to be covered under warranty since the car shows evidence of modification.

Thoughts?

What ground wire? And did your modifications even involve this wire?

MINI USA just signed a consent agreement for violating the Magnusson-Moss warranty act. I'd fight this one if you really had nothing to do with the failure.

There's a wire connected to a bolt that the VIP CAI attaches to. (https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...ease-help.html)

I am not 100% but this wire may have broken off (twisted off or snapped while removing a nut) during uninstall.

If true I am SHOCKED that one wire, no one grounding wire, that loses contact can cause the entire engine to break down!
