I'm looking for a spare "S" emblem to add to the front of my grill like the newer Minis have. Considering I can get one for about $5 on eBay, I was hoping someone may have a spare laying around they would be willing to send me for the same price.

 

The $5 eBay ones are probably cheap knockoffs. You're basically asking someone to give you an OEM one from MINI for free? I doubt anybody would do that lol.

Looks great, very similar to Gen 3 MINI. The Gen 3 is formed specifically to the grill.
Not sure if you're going to find anyone that's just going to remove for $5, either...

 

I guess I'm too used to the Jeep community where the majority of owners are willing to part ways with stock parts that are no longer wanted/needed just for the sake of helping someone out. We have entire sections of the forums dedicated to giving away free parts that are no longer needed.

I've seen plenty of Mini's on here that have been debadged over the years and I'm guessing there are some emblems somewhere out there that have been sitting in a garage collecting dust. I'm not expecting someone to pull a badge off their car and ship it to me, but was rather looking for someone who would probably toss a piece that most people wouldn't be in need of, and get enough for an overpriced cup of coffee in return.

I'll continue my search elsewhere.
