So a month or so back I had oil leaking into the 2nd cylinder tube, so I replaced the vc gasket and spark plug tube gaskets, and still having oil leaking into the 2nd cylinder. Any reason to this, I didnt see any cracks, and gasket was put in to my best knowledge correct, and no others are leaking.

See the underside of the pan how they seal. Should not be flipped.



Make sure the gasket is seated all the valve and the valve cover is all the way down screwed on. The hardware can get beat up.

 

I've got two random ideas for you

1)The bottom is press fit into the head. Did you notice if it was wobbly or loose?

2) some cams interfere with those tubes. People modify/bend them to get clearance. Are yours still round everywhere? If not, check for perforation where it was modified
