Hey all, I just jumped back into the mini game after a few years off. My first mini was an indi blue r50 that I converted to a 6 speed which I've since sold to a friend and is still going strong(209k miles and counting). My second was an 05 electric blue r53 I owned at the same time as my r50. Never really got into it as much as my first mini and I ended up selling both of them at the same time. I just picked up a 1 owner r53 chili red with 90k miles and proceeded to take it on a 3200 mile road trip. Just stopping by to say hi! I'll post pictures of all 3 later tonight when I get home.

2008 base - lemoned
2009 base - declined when problem came up day of purchase

Very partial to the r53 and want another one. One day maybe...

I test drove the F56 when I started to look for a new car and really enjoyed it. I was pretty close to pulling the trigger and ordering one but in the end I would have regretted it any time I had to park next to a first gen.

 

Like Potato Chips, I find I can not have only one...
