Favorite Roadster color?

As the end of the R59 approaches, I'm considering ordering one before production ends. Want to hear from Roadster folks: Given the reduced offerings for this model year, what's your favorite Roadster color?

Would have to be red here too! My red roadster is in Final Assembly now!!
I moved my schedule up and ordered this year due to the demise of the roadster. Will be interesting to see how much longer they can be ordered!

I'm going to check with my MA today to find out when the ordering window closes.

The limited selection of colors is kind of a bummer. I don't want black, grey, or silver, and that's almost half of the available palette. I've had BRG before, and it's a pretty color - but hard to keep looking good. That leaves red, white, and blue - any of which would be ok. My only qualm about going with Chili Red is the whole mid-life crisis look, and I'm still in denial about that The next choice is Pepper White. I think the Roadster looks good in PW, but white can be a bit boring, and I've already got a white MINI that I expect to keep. If they still offered Kite Blue, it would be a no-brainer for me . . . Decisions, decisions!

[QUOTE=Charlie Victor;4043811]I'm going to check with my MA today to find out when the ordering window closes.

That is what I did in Jan. He told me then that only 400 more could be ordered! Basically almost a normal production year of them I think, but being the last year...

I went red as everyone thought I had a mid-life crisis with my current red MINI Cooper hardtop! So what the heck!! Tossed around the Pepper White too, just was too plain looking I guess!

MINI Color

Pepper White is a safe color, but must admit, I would say that!
Roy
Look good in low light conditions, seems to take on a more cream like color. Although I'm at that age were I have to wear glasses now, Doh!

I would say Red or Pepper White...

A Mini in either color is sweet

Denial??? You have to embrace your mid life crisis! It's been my excuse for years when I wanted my MINI, my Harley, and most of my man cave!

'nuf said...it's the classic color...

...although I must admit I've seen some might fine R59s dressed in Kite Blue too.

British Roadsters are Green. Period. Red is for Corvettes.

Kite Blue would be our choice but I guess that makes ours even more rare.

Kite Blue isn't available on MINIUSA.com any more. Lightning Blue is though, which was and still would be my choice I think.

Kite Blue really did look nice in the JCW body kit. But also like Lightning blue. Hard choice.

My favorite color would be silver, if MINI had one for the Roadster. I tried talking myself into White Silver but every time I looked at it, all I could think about was primer grey. No offense to the White Silver owners.

I only buy used so I don't always get much of a color selection, especially with the hard to find Roadster.

But I have been very happy with my white silver w/black stripes.

I'm just glad it's not a dark color, these small cars are hard enough for drivers to see. My astro black R53 has been hit 3 times, and one of those was from someone backing up into my stationary car!

So you don't get hit while driving. You need an exhaust with alittle noise to it. I have an Akrapovic and have not had a problem since.

The hard part is keeping it clean, trust me, it isn't easy.
