Ordered my Mini Cooper S "Stirling"

I just ordered my 2015 MCS and can't wait for it to arrive. My dealer was great in helping me and being patient as i test drove a MCS 4 times and even brought my two rescued greyhounds in to test them fitting in the rear.
My Specs are as follows:
British Racing Green
White top and mirrors
Loaded Package
Sport Package
18" Two tone Mini Yours Vanity Spoke w/Chili Red Centers
Rear Spoiler
Checkered Flag moon roof decal
Checkered Side Scuttles
Checkered Rear View Mirror Cap

Congratulations! Did you order an F56 or F55? I'm curious because we have 2 retired racers of our own, and I'm curious if both will fit comfortably in an F56.

They should easily fit in an F55, as it's roughly the same size as the outgoing Clubman (R55).

I've had a Clubman and both hounds would fit, although the girl has a bit of space/sleep aggression so we only used the Clubman for short trips.

And - thanks for rescuing

Hi, I ordered an F56 3 door hatch. Both of our "girls" fit easily but I don't think I would take them on a long trip with it. They are both small females about 59-62 pounds. They liked the small hop into the back much more than the big jump into my wife's SUV.

Thank you for rescuing as well. Have a Greyt day

"Stirling" is awaiting transport, now I have to find which ship she will be on and start tracking. I don't think I have ever stalked anything quite this much...

Mine was left on the dock when the Manon took off, so I'm guessing both of ours will be on the next boat. I think the 17th? It's in the build week thread.

Hi Thirdrail,

I haven't looked but do you think they only use one ship going down the east coast and then through the canal to L.A.?

I am upset it will take about 15 days for it to be shipped because of the stops in NJ and SC, I can't imagine how difficult it is for you having to wait on the canal.

Well, and this is based on my previous experience not necessarily 2015 (though I don't see any indication its different) there are many ships on this route. Some years I've seen ships bound this direction (so to speak) leave within a week of each other. I think it depends on port schedule and what ships come in and where they are already heading. As I recall I think siriuszero spotted another one for this coming week. the W&W site is down right now so I can't verify.

We're also having a portside labor 'slowdown' along the West Coast so you never know...

Is the name from Stirling Moss? Used to race some John Cooper race cars (among others) in the 60's in the UK...

100% correct. My Father's favorite Formula 1 driver and my almost namesake. Good catch.
