Rubens Barichello in a JCW Roadster

Saw this over on FB and thought I'd share it here. It's pretty cool to see a renowned F1 driver ripping around the track in one of our beloved R59s.

Great video. It's the way I feel every time I drive my R59.

That was cool. I wish my Portuguese was better, from what I could understand he liked it.

You should enable translation subtitles. At least the version I saw had them. Yes, he did like it overall and his only negative comment was that it understeers too much for a car its size.

Understeer is safe for the masses and can easily be dealt with. Judging from the sound, those were some crappy street tires as well.

I always liked Rubens.

I wouldn't call the R59 a car for the masses, let alone in JCW guise

True, but cars manufactured today have understeer engineered into their near-limit balance because it's safer than a car that oversteers for the unpracticed driver.

I upgraded the rear sway to a NM 22mm (from the stocky) understeer reduced (to me feels considerably better on agressive cornering, my wife does not agree)
