Love this car but never could come up with the $$$ for a new one. Found this one cream and black no stripe for great price low miles. When I went to look at it the owner informed me it had been sitting for a while due to accident owner had which turned him into quadriplegic.

They told me that after changing the battery the radio stopped working. Couldn't help but believe the disabled man, really tragic story, so we bought it.

2 weeks later and much reading on this blog, we discovered that the sunroof tubes on passenger side disconnected and water shorted out the control ( fuse) box.

My husband has now been in garage for hours taking out carpet,seats, and everything else to dry this thing out.

My question is what should we ( by we I mean my husband) look out for while doing this kind of project?
