hello mini world! i have a 2010 mini cooper s with jcw pack in it and was looking to cut out the resonator and 2nd cat but no shops in nj will touch the 2nd cat. so i was wondering if there was any mini lovers out there that know how to weld and would like to give me a hand cutting the 2 out and welding a straight piece of pipe in place. i would compensate you for your time and help in which ever way youd like i.e. i buy lunch, give you some cash, a nice firm hug or whatever as long its within reason lol. i am somewhat mechanically inclined as is so it wont be like you have to babysit me i just dont know how to weld and at the same time could use an extra set of hands. i would greatly appreciate any and all help offered by anyone willing to lend a hand! also there is no time constraint on this so it can get done whenever is most convenient for you. thanks everyone and happy motoring!

 

Are you talking about the Cat that is next to the Resonator underneath the R56?

I have the R59 and got the Cat & Resonator cut...but had to put the Resonator back because it was droning bad on the Roadster.
