Cravenspeed r53 oil tapless adapter pics.

Can someone post a pic of the cravenspeed r53 oil pressure tapless adapter? I just received mine, and I think they sent the wrong one. It only is tapped 1/8 on one side, and didn't come with any other parts. Wondering if there was a design change, or this is the wrong part.

Thats pretty funny - that looks just like the $10 hardware store version. Wonder if someone pulled a switcheroo... I would call cravenspeed to confirm.

Yea, I know. I was pretty disappointed. Don't get me wrong, it's a nicely machined piece of steel, but the whole reason I went with the cravenspeed fro 80 bucks, vs the moroso one for 15 bucks, was because I thought the cravenspeed was tapped in 3 places to make install a breeze. I went ahead and installed the cravenspeed piece yesterday because I have limited time and good weather, and it worked, but I really had to muscle the adapter around, WAY more than I wanted to, to get the port in the correct spot. I was pretty worried about stripping the housing. But at that point I couldn't back it out for fear on a leak, as it would have taken 3/4 of a rotation. In all the pics I've seen of installs, the adapter from the and pro minis piece as well, it's tapped in 3 spots. And no instructions in the box. Not that it's not pretty self explanatory, but you would think they would have something.

I'm going to give them a call tomorrow. I will at some point in the near future be replacing the oil filter housing, so if it's the wrong piece, ill remedy it then.
