My rear-view mirror is leaking! You know how there's the lever that flips the mirror to night position and back? It's raining today and water is dripping from the open space up inside there. I have a piece of paper towel stuck in there now and have left a message with the dealer. I had the windshield replaced last week and wonder if this is related. Has anyone else had this problem? I was hoping maybe there's some simple fix I can do myself and avoid the hassle of having the car in the shop again.

Was stopped in the parking lot of my polling place and asked about the MINI by two people. . .

 

Sounds like a trip to the shop....

 

I'd think it was coming from the top of the windshield though.
An auto parts staore may have some windshield caulk as a temp fix.
