Hi all.
I am expecting delivery to dealer (Scotsdale, AZ) on a new mini on 11/4/02.
Was wondering what kind of delivery delays others in the southwestern region were experincing?
BTW, i live in SF,CA but had to order it in AZ to avoid a 2k dealer markup in Sf (and a lot of options not wanted)
Debbie Hillary although very busy has been great at the dealership, and would recomend calling them if you are sick of dealer markups and add ons. I was able to place an order at MSRp and with exact options wanted, and got a 90 day delivery! (i hope, hehe)

happy motoring!!

minimy, I sure hope there are no delays. I too ordered from Scottsdale MINI and have been dealing with Debbie Hillary. She has been great so far! Per MINIUSA.com, my baby is awaiting transport this week! Cant wait

I hope we will be motoring soon!

Our Mini was hardly delayed at all, even though the ship it was on arrived right in the middle of the lockout. Because the ships are all going into Port Hueneme in Ventura County, the backup hasn't been as bad as the Port of Los Angeles/Long Beach. Once it got through the port, it was at our dealer in 2 days. So, I wouldn't worry too much!

Thanks for the support.
I have been checking every day now as my car has a delivery date of 11/4. The folks at 1-877-ask-mini have been friendly, and have been telling me car is In port (Port Hueneme), but not yet at distribution center for about 4 days now. One rep told me he estimated there to be between 800-5600 cars on that boat! My guess is that will create quite a backlog at the processing center.

luvdamini-i think youll be suprised how fast the cars get here at the stage your at, and by that time, i'd bet the backlog in the ports should also be cleared out.

Cheers
