Passenger Kick Panel Removal

Have been trying to remove the passenger kick panel to access the Sirius Antenna connector. I have gotten the panel lose and can pry it to the side enough to see the connector, but have not been able to remove it completely. It appears that the glove box would have to be removed to get the panel completely out of the way. Does anyone know if this is true?

As an alternate if I could get the connector out of its clip I could probably work with the space I have with the panel loose. However I can't see how to remove it from the clip. Can anyone tell me how to the plug is connected to the clip and how to remove it?

Thanks

Jim

Did you look at http://www.realoem.com/ for a diagram of the parts and how they fit together? That is where I'd start.

You have to work from just before the b pillar to remove the more forward stuff in the footwells. At the top of thpse panels in the side footwells, you also have to pull a piece out. Seems hard and weird, but a piece pulls out there. e-storecentral. Comment is a good place too
