Suspension Powerflex Polyurethane Bushings
Powerflex Polyurethane Bushings
Hello everyone, I was just wondering if anyone out there is using Powerflex Polyurethane Bushings. Motor mounts, wishbone, steering rackmount, etc. And their thoughts on handling improvement and ease of installation.
Here's a thread that discuss the install http://www.mini2.com/forum/showthread.php?t=44196I think that the pics are on page three.

Having just finished doing an LSD install I can attest that dropping the sub frame can be a bit of a bear. Still, I learned a couple of lessons. Life is a LOT easier if you remove the PS cooling fan, the higher the car is the easier the sub frame bolts are to remove and install. There is no need to undo anything except the sway bar links and the bottom ball joint (a properly designed ball joint "popper" will not do anything to the boot).
I plantto have a pal make the busihngs for me out of Teflon. Can't see paying what they want. Semi solid mounts however, are not good for ride quality and PKT RKT is already plenty stiff......
