07 r56 cant get rid of codes

What's up guys, I'm new here. I own a 07 r56 and have had it for a little over a year.
I have 2 codes I cannot get rid of and I'm all out of options on what to do.
The first one is inlet camshaft sensor and the second is intake manifold unmetered air.
Now I've replaced the cam sensor already purchased it from mini.. And I've done everything from a smoke test to replacing clamps on the in intercooler hoses..
I have a couple upgrades they are the forged intercooler.. Catless downpipe and full exhaust..
I have plans on getting it tuned I just need to get rid of the codes first..
Does anybody have any idea what it could be I'm completely lost.. I took it to the dealer for them to diag and $133 later nothing they couldn't figure it out

Thanks in advance guys..
-Mike

Exactly what fault codes are you pulling? Are you pulling specific MINI diagnostic trouble codes (DTC's) and not P-codes?

When did the codes appear?
Out of the blue, or after one of the mods?

2b64 is likely air intake leak in the piping.
Could be a loose clamp, or cracked plastic pipe. Just follow the air flow from the filter to the turbo to the intercooler to the inake manifold and re-check every connection, even if it requires removing the bumper. In my case, I had it after noise-maker delete when one of the clamps worked itself loose.

Camshaft sensor could be the sensor itself, or issues with the wiring harness.

HTH,

Everything happened I want to say about a month maybe 2 after all the upgrades. I Put T-Clamps on the Intercooler hose going into the intercooler sunday. And now im getting a whistleing noise that wasn't there before.. It sound exactly how a turbo is suppose to sound you can hear it build boost and when I let off the gas it sounds like it blows off.. Only thing that worries me is it wasn't sounding like that before, so I don't know if I fixed some of the problem and that is the result for maybe something else went wrong.
Im going to put the car on my friends lift tomorrow and tear into everything and hopefully find something in the intercooler pipes..

Also the code for the camshaft sensor is 296A

thanks again guys

0x2B64 is an air leak downstream of the throttle. Check for leaks in PCV/valve cover as well as around the intake manifold.

0x296A is camshaft position sensor check. I'd change the sensor. Super easy to do. One bolt and one connector if I remember correctly. If you still have the issue might want to pull the valve cover and physically check the timing.
