R56 Mini Cooper Floor, Flood Vulnerability?
Mini Cooper Floor, Flood Vulnerability?
Does anyone have a picture of what the R56 looks like without the carpet?
The reason I ask is, the car was caught in a flash flood recently. The water level was UNDER the door, but I'm just wondering if it's possible that there's moisture under the carpets - It's dry to the touch, but still not 100% sure.
My other car just started getting the carpet wet, so I pulled it and threw it out. Different matter for the Mini though, I would have insurance cover it.
Anyway, thoughts on this? I'll probably lift the carpet when I get a chance just to be sure, but I'd like to see it anyway and see what the possibility of flood is, if the water doesn't go above the door level.
