Mechanical boost gauge on r56 n18

Hey guys I'm new here to the NAM forum and I'm also a new mini owner. Now I've gotten straight to the mods and i bought the boost tap and alta tach mount for a gauges well as a mech boost gauge with an LED backlight. the one question I'm wondering about is where to wire up the light to the boost gauge. I don't wanna go splicing into the wrong wires, so where have you guys spliced into to get a little light?
