Hi All,

I am wondering if any of you New Englanders out there can tell me of a junkyard(s) that tends to have MINI Coopers. I specifically am looking for 1st Gen MCS. I tried picknpull.com, but they don't even list MINI as a make nor MINI as a BMW model. I called the one in Cumberland, RI, and they told me they don't get MINIs. Seems really strange.

I am in Providence, RI, so something in southern New England would be great.

I lived in MA (Cape Cod), for 3 years... I don't remember seeing an auto salvage yard anywhere...

I'm not counting Seekonk Speedway, during race night.

Well, I found a yard in Rhode Island that presently has two MINIs. The place is North Smithfield Auto Recycling, in (where else) North Smithfield, RI. They charge $5 just to get into the yard. The BMW association had them thinking the used parts were worth more than I think they should be when you have to pull them yourself. It is an option for used parts, anyway, for those of you in the area so inclined.

Never been to Seekonk Speedway though it is very close by...

Hoping to hear from some others with names of yards...
